- 估算credits are developmental courses for students who need to prepare themselves for college-level work. They count toward financial aid requirements but do not count toward earned college credits or GPA.

- Classes are taught live from one campus location and broadcast to one or more additional campus locations. Cameras and microphones at all sites allow faculty and learners to see and talk with each other.
This first of two sequential human anatomy and physiology courses is designed for students who have had little or no previous study of the body or the physical and 化学 principles on which body structure and function is based. In this course, students will learn basic chemistry and physics, cytology, and histology. Students will study the following organ systems: integumentary, 骨骼, 肌肉发达的, 心血管, 淋巴, 和呼吸. Students will identify the microorganisms of importance to medicine, industry, and the natural world. Topics include microbial taxonomy; cultivation; metabolism; genetics; physical, 化学, and chemotherapeutic agents of microbial control; host defense mechanisms and immunology; biology; epidemiology; and selected bacterial, 真菌, 原生动物, and viral pathogens of medical significance.
